Ferencvárosi TC go into the winter break at the top of the table after a 2-1 win at Kispest Honvéd FC.

Rearranged game
In a rearranged game at the Bozsik stadium played in torrential rain in Budapest, international midfield player Péter Lipcsei opened the scoring after 62 minutes with a long-range strike.

Lipcsei involved
Within two minutes, Lipcsei was back in the thick of the action again, crossing from the right for Attila Kriston to score Ferencváros's second from four metres.

Quick comeback
Kispest were back in the game within a few seconds as Under-21 international Sándor Torghelle produced an excellent through-ball for striker Zoltán Hercegfalvi to scored from seven metres but they could not find an equaliser.

Narrow lead
József Garami's Ferencváros are ahead of MTK Hungária FC thanks to a better goal difference with both sides having earned 38 points in the opening half of the season.
