Sapuric experience suits Achnas

Yugoslavian coach Svetoza Sapuric is the new man at the helm of Cypriot side Ethnikos Achnas FC.
Cypriot side Ethnikos Achnas FC have appointed Yugoslavian Svetoza Sapuric as their new coach, replacing Andreas Mouskallis who walked out on the First Division club a month ago.

Local knowledge
Achnas chairman Kikis Philipou gave his backing to the former APOEL Nicosia FC and Olympiakos Nicosia FC trainer, saying: "We wanted a coach who not only knew the team well but also Cypriot football."

'Back on track'
As well as managing in Division A, Sapuric, who has dual nationality, also played for APOEL and Anorthosis Famagusta FC. Achnas are currently ninth in the 14-strong top flight, and Philipou added: "We are all going to have to work together to get the team back on track."
