Struggling AC Chievo Verona have moved to sign Albanian international striker Erjon Bogdani from Serie A rivals AC Siena for an undisclosed fee.

Chievo snap up Siena's Bogdani

Struggling AC Chievo Verona have moved to sign Albanian international striker Erjon Bogdani from Serie A rivals AC Siena for an undisclosed fee.

Struggling AC Chievo Verona have signed 29-year-old Albanian international striker Erjon Bogdani from Serie A rivals AC Siena for an undisclosed fee.

Itinerant career
Bogdani, who has managed seven goals in 32 international appearances for Albania, has scored twice in 15 games for Siena having joined the club in the summer of 2005 following a season with Chievo's local rivals Hellas-Verona FC. He started his career in Albania with KF Partizani, and represented Gençlerbirligi SK, FK Dinamo Tirana, NK Zagreb, Reggina Calcio and Salernitana Sport before moving to Verona in 2004.
