Benfica to lose Fehér

Injury will keep SL Benfica's Hungarian striker Miklos Fehér on the sidelines for at least four weeks.

SL Benfica's Hungarian international Miklos Fehér will be sidelined for at least four weeks after falling victim to a training-ground injury.

Injury list
The 23-year-old is to undergo knee surgery today in Lisbon to mend a cartilage problem that the striker sustained in training last week. He adds his name to an injury list already containing Angolan international forward Pedro Mantorras and his Croatian counterpart Tomislav Sokota, as well as Brazilian attacking midfield player Roger.

Benfica chase
Fehér is expected to miss the Super Liga matches against CS Marítimo, SC Beira-Mar, Moreirense FC, UD Leiria and CD Nacional. Benfica are second in the table - eleven points behind the former Györi ETO FC player's previous club, FC Porto.
