Cagliari Calcio became the second Serie A club to replace their coach today, with Marco Giampaolo being reappointed at the expense of Franco Colomba.

Second appointment
Sunday's 2-0 home defeat by S.S. Lazio prompted the Sardinian team to dispense with Colomba not long after Torino FC announced that Gianni De Biasi had come in for Alberto Zaccheroni. Giampaolo, 39, has taken over from Colomba having been succeeded by the 52-year-old in December. Giampaolo was initially appointed in the summer following a strong maiden Serie A campaign with Ascoli Calcio 1898. Cagliari are 14th in the table.
