Wales round-up: Room at the top for Barry

Barry Town AFC moved three points clear at the top of the table after a 1-0 win against Llanelli FC.
Barry Town AFC moved three points clear at the top of the Welsh Premiership on Tuesday night after a hard-fought 1-0 win against basement side Llanelli FC.

Leon king
A third-minute goal from Barry's new signing Leon Jeanne was enough to divide the sides at Jenner Park. Second-placed TNS Llansantffraid FC have three games in hand on the leaders, however.

Town fire
Tuesday's other match ended in a 3-1 victory for Aberystwyth Town FC against Connah's Quay Nomads FC. The hosts had to come from behind after Tommy Mutton put Connah's Quay in front after eight minutes. Glyndwr Hughes equalised a minute after half-time and two goals in the last three minutes from Matthew Duckett and Anthony Wright sealed the win.
