DSC Arminia Bielefeld have signed Greek striker Leonidas Kampantais on a free transfer following the expiry of the 25-year-old's contract at AEK Athens FC.

DSC Arminia Bielefeld have signed Greek striker Leonidas Kampantais on a free transfer following the expiry of the 25-year-old's contract at AEK Athens FC.

Free transfer
Having scored eight goals in 21 games for AEK this season, Kampantais has agreed a two-year contract with Arminia. His new club finished 12th in the 18-team Bundesliga while Kampantais helped AEK earn the runners-up slot in Greece and a place in the third qualifying round of next season’s UEFA Champions League.
