FC Girondins de Bordeaux have taken up an option to sign RC Lens's Brazilian winger Jussiê Ferreira, the selling club have announced.

Permanent switch
Jussiê joined Bordeaux on loan in January, going on to lift the French League Cup with the south-west side, and Lens say he has now made the move permanent. The transfer fee remains undisclosed. The 23-year-old former Cruzeiro EC and Kashiwa Reysol forward came on as a substitute as Bordeaux beat Olympique Lyonnais 1-0 in the League Cup final to qualify for the UEFA Cup. In all, he made 16 Ligue 1 appearances for Les Marine et Blanc, scoring two goals. His Lens career yielded 13 strikes from 68 league matches. Bordeaux finished the season in sixth place, with Lens fifth and destined for the UEFA Intertoto Cup.
