Galatasaray SK have reacted to the departure of goalkeeper Faryd Mondragón by recruiting the 26-year-old Kayseri Erciyesspor custodian Orkun Usak.

Galatasaray SK have reacted to the departure of goalkeeper Faryd Mondragón by signing Kayseri Erciyesspor No1 Orkun Usak.

Goalkeeping change
The Istanbul club are yet to reveal details of the move for a player who made 16 appearances for relegated Erciyesspor last term. The 26-year-old made his name with MKE Ankaragücü where he played 53 league games over three seasons. A regular member of the Turkey squad, he will vie for a starting berth at Galatasaray with Aykut Erçetin, Fevzi Elmas and Fırat Kocaoğlu. Mondragón has joined Germany's 1. FC Köln after six campaigns in Turkish football.
