Debrecen increase attacking options

Hungarian side Debreceni VSC have signed Romanian forward Sabin Ilie from FC National Bucuresti.

Hungarian 1. Liga side Debreceni VSC have strengthened their squad with the signing of Romanian international forward Sabin Ilie.

Free transfer
Ilie, the brother of Deportivo Alavés striker Adrian Ilie, joins on a free transfer from FC National Bucuresti. "The reasons I came here were the presence of two other Romanians at the club in Tibor Selymes and Marius Sumudica, and the fact the directors offered me good terms," the former FC Energie Cottbus player said.

Increased security
Ilie, 27, could make his home league debut on Wednesday when Debrecen, who are in fourth place in the table, take on leaders Ferencvárosi TC. He has four international caps.
