PFC Cherno More Varna moved up to fifth place in the Premier League after beating PFC Litex Lovech.

PFC Cherno More Varna moved up to fifth place in the Bulgarian Premier League after beating PFC Litex Lovech in a game postponed after the death of Cherno More chairman Ilia Pavlov.

Away success
A goal in each half gave the visitors a 2-0 victory in the Round 16 encounter, which had been brought back from 8 March, the day after Pavlov was murdered in the capital Sofia.

Zhekov clincher
Cherno More took the lead five minutes before half-time when Emil Todorov struck and Slavi Zhekov confirmed the win with a second goal on 89 minutes. The result left Litex in fourth place in the table, a point behind PFC Slavia Sofia and four ahead of Cherno More.
