Belarussian side FC Dnepr-Transmash Mogilev have signed Ukrainian brothers Illya and Serhiy Galyuza.
The Ukrainians have joined their new club after a two-week trial and medical tests. According to Dnepr head coach Valery Streltsov, both players have impressed him and will most likely contend for a starting place straight away.
'Creating a new club'
"We have a personnel problem every pre-season," said Streltsov. "But this time around the club has lost too many players, and we are talking about creating a new club here. I think the new season will see the formation of a new Dnepr-Transmash."
Illya Galyuza, 23, and his 21-year-old brother Serhiy will be joined by their compatriot Andriy Honchar from FC Obolon Kyiv. The start of the Belarussian First Division has been postponed from Saturday to Friday week due to bad weather, with Dnepr, ninth last season, beginning their campaign at FC Torpedo Zhodino.
