F91 Dudelange have completed the double by winning the Luxembourg Cup final with a 5-0 victory over UN Käerjéng 97 in front of 3,000 spectators at the Stade Josy Barthel.

Patience required
Despite dominating, Dudelange could not pull ahead in the early stages, eventually taking the lead in the 39th minute when Cape Verde star Walder Alves Souto Amado opened the scoring. Käerjéng could only mount occasional counterattacks and never really threatened the goal of national team goalkeeper Jonathan Joubert.

Vairelles double
Michel Leflochmoan's team finally took advantage of their superiority after the break with two strikes from Tony Vairelles (64 and 68). Daniel Da Mota hit a fourth on 73 minutes after Käerjéng keeper Sergio Silva and Sébastien Remy's last-minute effort underlined their dominance. Despite losing the final, Käerjéng will still play in UEFA Europa League qualifying next season with champions Dudelange set for the UEFA Champions League.
