Dolmatov decides on Vorskla

Ukrainian Premier League side FC Vorskla Poltava have appointed Oleh Dolmatov as coach.

One-year deal
The 54-year-old has agreed a one-year contract with the Ukrainian Premier League side, having previously coached a number of clubs, including PFC CSKA Moskva and FC Dinamo Moskva in Russia. Dolmatov also enjoyed an illustrious playing career, reaching the final of the UEFA Cup Winners' Cup in 1972 with Dinamo, and was part of the Soviet Union side which reached the final of the UEFA European Championship the same year.

'No doubts'
"After I got Vorskla's offer I had no doubts," said Dolmatov. "I liked all the terms on my personal contract and Vorskla's aim to get into Europe.”

Slow start
Vorskla currently lie in 12th place in the Ukrainian top flight with six points from six games.
