Neftochimik in name switch

Bulgarian club PFC Neftochimik are to change their name to PFC Nafteks in February and the Burgas-based outfit have also announced a lucrative ten-year sponsorship deal with Russian company LukOil.

Permission granted
According to regulations in Bulgaria, a club cannot change its name in mid-season, so officially the new name will be in effect as from June. But the name change has bee has been granted the club have been given permission to restart the season after the winter break as Nafteks.
