Sweden round-up: Fancied AIK start poorly

AIK Solna slumped to a 2-0 home Allsvenskan defeat against IF Elfsborg in their opening game of the season on Sunday.

GIF Sundsvall secured a morale-boosting 1-0 away win over Halmstads BK with Fredrik Lundqvist scoring the only goal of the game.

Meanwhile, Kalmar FF's veteran defender Dennis Nilsson gave his side a 1-0 win over IFK Norrköping. Norrköping rattled Kalmar's crossbar twice, but it was Nilsson who made the breakthrough with a 67th-minute header.
