Juventus progressed to the Coppa Italia semi-finals after a penalty shoot-out victory over SSC Napoli following a goalless draw in Turin.

Lazio tie
The hosts had two goals disallowed during the night with both David Trezeguet and Alessandro Del Piero denied. The visitors, meanwhile, had a succession of late chances but could not find the net so the tie went to penalties. Both sides missed two of their five spot-kicks and while Nicola Legrottaglie scored for Juve in the first of the sudden death penalties, Walter Gargano blazed over for Napoli. The Bianconeri will play S.S. Lazio in the last four while FC Internazionale Milano will take on UC Sampdoria.
