Ukraine striker Andriy Voronin has joined FC Dinamo Moskva on a three-year deal that brings the curtain down on his time with UEFA Europa League hopefuls Liverpool FC.

'Professional approach'
The 30-year-old moved to Anfield from Bayer 04 Leverkusen in 2007 but failed to secure a regular first-team berth and spent last season on loan at Hertha BSC Berlin. He returned to Merseyside this term but made only one Premier League start in the first half of the campaign, and leaves with a tally of five goals from 27 league appearances for the Reds. "I had options for continuing my career in Germany, and several in Russia, but eventually opted for Dinamo," explained Voronin. "I liked the professional approach of the Moscow club's officials during negotiations and I also liked my conversation with coach Andrey Kobelev." Dinamo ended the 2009 Russian Premier-Liga in eighth place.
