BATE Borisov won 2-0 away from Vitebsk to seal their tenth consecutive championship in Belarus.

Aleksei Rios opened the scoring in the 25th minute from Dmitri Mozolevski's pass before the provider turned goalscorer with a header six minutes later to seal BATE's 12th championship with three matches to spare. The match was particularly emotional for Mozolevski, who had not played for BATE since September 2013 due to injury.

BATE coach Aleksandr Yermakovich said: "I'm happy that our efforts give us good results. We expected a difficult match as we have not had easy league games this season. Vitebsk showed good progress in recent games but we scored two goals in the first half. I'm very glad for Dmitri Mozolevski, who scored a beautiful goal. I hope there won't be these long pauses in his career in the future."

BATE chairman Anatoli Kapski added: "For me, the hero of the day is Dmitri Mozolevski. He hasn't played football for more than two years but has coped with everything, which only a very strong person could do."
