A 2-0 success at relegated FK Smederevo was enough for FK Partizan to secure their 25th league title, the win leaving them eight points above FK Crvena zvezda with one round of the Serbian season to go.

Vuk Rašović's men strode five points clear of their closest pursuers by triumphing 1-0 in Saturday's Eternal derby. Partizan, buoyed by that victory, went ahead through forward Marko Šćepović after 17 minutes, and they had one hand on the title when Nemanja Kojić made it two in the second half.

The capital club finish their campaign at home to FK Spartak Zlatibor voda on Sunday. For their part, Crvena zvezda succumbed 2-1 at home to FK Sloboda Užice, for whom Predrag Ranđelović struck twice.
