Moldova name party to take on Netherlands

"We have great respect for the Dutch but that doesn't mean we're eager to give them three points," said Moldova coach Gavril Balint as he named his squad for two Group E qualifiers.

Moldova coach Gavril Balint has recalled FC Kuban Krasnodar defender Victor Golovatenco for the UEFA EURO 2012 qualifiers against the Netherlands and San Marino.

The 26-year-old sat out the opening victory against Finland and loss in Hungary due to club commitments, but will hope to feature against the Oranje in Chisinau on 8 October.

"It's a big honour for us to meet the World Cup runners-up," said Balint. "We have great respect for the Dutch but that doesn't mean we're eager to give them three points."

Balint has dropped Victor Comlenoc and Alexandru Dedov, while Serghei Dadu is absent through injury. Moldova face San Marino away on 12 October.
