Russia coach Dick Advocaat has announced that defender Roman Shishkin will miss UEFA EURO 2012 due to a stomach complaint.

The 25-year-old FC Lokomotiv Moskva defender is the second Russian player to be ruled out in five days after Vasili Berezutski was forced to withdraw with a thigh injury on Sunday.

"Roman left the team because of gastrointestinal problems," said Advocaat ahead his side's friendly against Uruguay on Friday. "He has lost some weight and the prediction wasn't optimistic. He went back to Lokomotiv Moskva where the medical staff will take care of him."

Russia kick off their Group A campaign against the Czech Republic in Wroclaw on 8 June before taking on co-hosts Poland and 2004 winners Greece.
