Aurélien Chedjou heaped praise on the older members of the Chelsea FC team who brushed Galatasaray AŞ aside 2-0 at Stamford Bridge to book a place in the UEFA Champions League quarter-finals. The defender said Frank Lampard runs around like an 18-year-old while Samuel Eto'o is a consummate professional. For Didier Drogba, it was a "great feeling" to be so warmly welcomed back by the Stamford Bridge crowd but the result disappointed him.

Aurélien Chedjou, Galatsaray defender
Today we came up against a top-class team. They have quality in attack and great individuals. Frank Lampard is 35 years old and runs around like he is 18. It is impressive.

We could not cope. Samuel Eto'o plays with his head nowadays. He is intelligent and always seems to be in the right position. His experience is crucial. He is a great professional; he has not faded with the years.

Didier Drogba, Galatasaray forward
[A reception like that] shows that you have achieved something at a club. It was very nice, it was a great feeling but in the end the result makes me a bit sad because we are out of the competition. But our team is young and we are learning and I hope we come back to this stage again.
