Joe Ledley, Wales midfielder
It is a massive point for us. We played these a couple of years ago and got hammered 2-0 so we have come a long way. Obviously we wanted the three points and had a few chances and maybe on another day that would have happened but it was a big point for us and hopefully we kick on from this.

[We produced] brilliant defensive play as a back four and as a unit as well. Everyone put in a great shift and hopefully we can continue that on Monday [against Cyprus]. We are still undefeated and hopefully we can continue. You can see on the pitch, everyone believes in ourselves – we just need to keep going. We haven't had a good start like this for a long time and we've got off to a great start and hopefully with three points on Monday we could kick on from that.

It was a great ball in [for Hal Robson-Kanu] and maybe on another day that would have gone in but you can't fault the effort, not just from Gareth [Bale] but the whole team. It was a great team performance and we were missing some key players as well, so the people who stepped in have done a great job.

Chris Gunter, Wales defender
[On late miss from Robson-Kanu] I thought from the corner it was going to flash in [but] it wasn't to be. It was a really entertaining game for everyone. We started really well, had a couple of chances, then they had a spell where they got on top. It was pretty similar in the second half – for a spell we had to dig in, but when you play against a good team you are going to have to do that at times. We did that well and showed a lot of spirit to dig in like we did in Andorra and then pose a threat on the break.

I think it's a point gained. They are a good team, they probably thought they had to come here and win, having lost their opening game and [the fact] they go to Belgium next week.

It was a great occasion and we know that when the Welsh fans turn out the atmosphere and passion we have as a nation is there for all to see. Hopefully they can come back on Monday because they definitely give us a lot of extra motivation towards the end when there's a few tired bodies.

[Goalkeeper Wayne Hennessey] was brilliant. Tonight he was unbelievable at times. If you are going to win games and pick up points, you need a good goalkeeper and we've certainly got that.

Chris Coleman, Wales manager
It was a good point and a great performance. We had to ride our luck a little bit. They came here to beat us. Bosnia have very good players, physically strong, and they were unbelievably passionate about playing for their country – we talked about that beforehand. We had to stand up to the challenge, we matched them and we had a few chances, while Wayne [Hennessey] pulled off a few saves.

It was a good, old-fashioned international match. We dug in and we dug in deep. In the last campaign we played some good football but got beat easily. We gave away goals. We didn't get bullied tonight.

Our fans were given a committed performance. It was a great atmosphere and it was the first time that we have walked out into a crowd like that. The national anthem was powerful. We have to keep that now. Three points on Monday will make this point look very good. All week the lads have been magnificent and the team spirit has been fantastic, it really has.

Asmir Begović, Bosnia andHerzegovina goalkeeper
Overall there is still so much to play for – eight games left for each team and a lot of points. Everything is wide open. Israel beating Cyprus puts everyone on an even keel. We're pleased. It was important for us to get a result here tonight as otherwise we would have been way back. We're still confident we can get some points on the board.

[On late save from Bale] He seems to be able to produce things out of nowhere. The defenders did really well to keep him outside. Then he pings one far, far post – I was thankful to save it. That would have been brutal for us to lose that game. We did enough in the 90 minutes to deserve the result, if not win the game.

[On facing Belgium on Monday] We believe at home with the backing of our crowd, if we put in a performance like we did today, we can get a result. It will be extremely difficult – Belgium are a fantastic side and we'll have to be at our best. But we go in confident mood, every time we play at home we believe in ourselves. You can go from one to 11, they are all world-class players playing at big clubs, but we've got a good team too.

Safet Sušić, Bosnia and Herzegovina coach
It was a tough game. There were many chances on both sides. I am not dissatisfied. Wales are a good team and Gareth Bale is one of the best players in the world. My team gave a good performance.

We secretly wanted  a win, but in the end we played out a 0-0. We didn't think they would be better than us, but we definitely expected a lot of counterattacks, especially since Bale is a very fast player.

Now it's important to rest and then focus on the match against Belgium on Monday. So far we have a loss and a draw, but we are sure that next year we will play better.
