SC Bastia beat AS Monaco FC on penalties to set up a French League Cup final against Paris Saint-Germain while SSC Napoli and Liverpool FC left it late to win their ties.

French League Cup semi-finals
SC Bastia beat AS Monaco FC 7-6 on penalties to set up a final against Paris Saint-Germain.
• Spot-kicks needed after 120 goalless minutes at Stade Louis II.
• Maarten Stekelenburg saves two kicks but João Moutinho misses potential winner, meaning sudden death.
• Nabil Dirar hits bar with Monaco's ninth kick and Sébastien Squillaci eliminates former club.
• Bastia face holders Paris, who beat them in 1995 final, on 11 April at Stade de France.

Coppa Italia quarter-finals
• Gonzalo Higuaín scores in added time to take holders SSC Napoli into the semis against SS Lazio.
