It had looked bleak for Wales when Stuart Jones was sent off for a second bookable offence eleven minutes into the second half. However, Glyn Hodges' side were celebrating at the end after Adam Birchall's crossfield pass picked out Crowell and he shot powerfully into the net with five minutes remaining.
