Article body
Agger on target
Ukraine were hoping to move to within three points of their visitors with victory today, but it was Denmark who were celebrating at the final whistle thanks to Brøndby IF defender Agger, who also scored twice in Friday's 5-1 win against Kazakhstan.
Five-points lead
Denmark retain their five-point lead over second-placed Turkey, and are now eight points above the team in third, Greece, with the top two progressing to the play-offs in November. Flemming Serritslev's side next welcome Albania on 7 June, while Ukraine - who have dropped to fourth with Turkey and Greece both winning today - play Kazakhstan four days earlier before a trip to Greece.
