Winning formula suits Welsh

Wales manager Mark Hughes has named an unchanged squad for the qualifier against Azerbaijan.

Bellamy fear
Hughes's only worry ahead of the Group 9 game in Baku is Newcastle United FC forward Craig Bellamy, who is struggling with a knee injury. The coach will monitor Bellamy's fitness over the next fortnight before making a final decision on his inclusion.

'Too early to say'
"I don't know whether he will pull out of the squad at this stage," Hughes said. "I don't think Craig or Newcastle know either. We will monitor his situation leading up to the game - though I wouldn't have thought he'd play for us if he doesn't play for Newcastle first".

Welsh lead
Wales currently lead their qualifying section by two points, having beaten Finland and Italy in their first two matches. The Under-21 squad also face Azerbaijan in Baku, on 19 November.

Wales squad
Jones, Crossley, Ward, Coyne, Barnard, Delaney, Melville, Weston, Gabbidon, Page, Trollope, Johnson, Koumas, Evans, Speed, Robinson, Pembridge, Davies, Savage, Hartson, Earnshaw, Taylor, Bellamy, Blake, Giggs.
