Date set for Georgia hearing

UEFA's disciplinary body is to examine incidents at Georgia's recent match against the Republic of Ireland.

The disciplinary case arising from Saturday's UEFA EURO 2004™ Group 10 qualifying match between Georgia and the Republic of Ireland will be dealt with on 15 April.

Crowd incidents
UEFA's Control and Disciplinary Body will be examining crowd incidents at the match, which the Republic of Ireland won 2-1, including an incident in which Irish player Kevin Kilbane was apparently struck by a pen-knife thrown from the crowd. UEFA said on Sunday that the referee's report referred in particular to the pen-knife incident.

Russian game
European football's governing body also said today that any impact on the Group 10 match between Georgia and Russia, scheduled to be played in Tbilisi on 30 April, will only be considered after the disciplinary hearing on 15 April.
