Irish recall Crowe for friendly

Republic of Ireland have included striker Glen Crowe in the squad for the friendly at home to Norway.

Debut in November
The 25-year-old Crowe made his debut in the 0-0 draw in Greece last November but has not been in the Irish squad since after undergoing knee surgery in December. He missed the title run-in with Bohemians, along with the February friendly against Scotland and subsequent UEFA EURO 2004™ qualifiers against Georgia and Albania.

Winning goal
Crowe is now fit again and scored the only goal in a 1-0 win over University College Dublin FC on the opening day of the season last week. Crowe was a member of Kerr's Ireland squad that finished third in the 1997 FIFA World Youth Championship in Malaysia.

Leeds pair return
Rotherham United FC's Alan Lee and Alan Quinn of Sheffield Wednesday FC are the two uncapped players in the squad. Clinton Morrison, Steven Reid and Jason McAteer miss out through injury, but the Leeds United AFC pair Ian Harte and Gary Kelly are included after recovering from injury problems. The match will be Kerr's first at Lansdowne Road since he replaced Mick McCarthy.

Colgan, Given, Kiely, Carr, Harte, O'Shea, O'Brien, Breen, Cunningham, Kelly, Finnan, Carsley, Healy, Holland, Kinsella, Quinn, Kilbane, McPhail, Duff, Crowe, Connolly, Doherty, Lee, Keane.
