First come
Group A rivals Portugal and Turkey will arrive at their bases in Neuchatel and Geneva respectively on 1 June, while the first teams stationed in Austria to muster for the finals will be Poland (Bad Waltersdorf) and Italy (Baden bei Wien) a day later. Under UEFA EURO 2008™regulations, every team must arrive at their team base camp at least five days before their first match.

Open sessions
On 5 June, Spain will be the last of the 16 nations to arrive at their Tyrol headquarters. The referees will check in to their hotel in Regensdorf near Zurich on 2 June. Most training sessions will be held behind closed doors, but 14 of the 16 teams are following UEFA's recommendation by opening at least one training session to the public.
