France and Belgium remain locked together at the top of Group 4 after playing out a goalless draw in Mouscron.

Lively Tabanou
The neighbours went into qualifier with seven points from three matches yet neither side was able to force the breakthrough at Le Canonnier which would have seen them wrest the initiative in the section. France had the better of the play, particularly in the first half when the impressive Toulouse FC winger Franck Tabanou was at the hub of Les Bleuets best moves.

Two off
Axel Witsel fired Belgium's clearest chance wide just before the break, while France midfielder Yann M'Vila thumped a shot against the crossbar on 64 minutes. Both teams ended the match with ten men, Belgium's Vadis Odjidja-Ofoe and France's Cheikh Mbengué seeing red following an 87th-minute incident.

Ukraine chance
"I'm satisfied with the way we dominated play but not with the result," said visiting coach Erick Mombaerts. "We came here for the points and had many opportunities to secure them." Ukraine could join the pacesetters on eight points with an away victory in Slovenia on Wednesday.
