The UEFA Regions' Cup qualifying draws has set groups for the preliminary and intermediate rounds as the European amateur competition returns for the 2024/25 edition.

The draws were made by Antonio González of 2023 winners Galicia, who received the Respect Fair Play trophy on behalf of his team.

In all, 36 associations have entered, with Malta and San Marino fielding national amateur teams and the rest to be represented by regional selections that win their country's qualifying competitions. Albania will enter a side for the first time while Armenian representatives will return after last taking part in 2010/11.

The teams from the 30 entering associations with the highest competition coefficients will begin in the intermediate round, with the other six taking part in the preliminary round to fill the remaining two intermediate round slots.

All preliminary round matches must be played by 31 July 2024 while all intermediate round matches must be played before 6 December 2024. The eight intermediate round group winners will qualify for the finals – to be held, in principle, in the first two weeks of either June or July 2025 and hosted by one of the qualifiers.

This will be the 13th edition. The 12th edition was won in June 2023 by Spanish hosts Galicia, who beat FA of Belgrade of Serbia in the final.

Draw procedure

Preliminary round

The six teams were drawn into two groups of three teams, to be played as one-venue mini-tournaments.

All six teams were placed in one pot and drawn without seeding to form two groups.

On the basis of decisions by the UEFA Executive Committee and the UEFA Emergency Panel at the time of the draw, these countries could not be drawn together: Azerbaijan and Armenia.

The teams were allocated to groups in ascending order. If a clash arose, the team drawn would have been moved to the next available group. The draw would have continued by filling the slot left vacant.

The two group winners will progress to the intermediate round.

Preliminary round contenders: Sweden, Georgia, Azerbaijan, Estonia, Albania, Armenia

Intermediate round

The 32 contenders (30 teams entering in this round and the two preliminary round winners) were split into four pots of eight teams based on their coefficients.

The teams were drawn into eight groups of four, each containing one team from each pot.

On the basis of decisions by the UEFA Executive Committee and the UEFA Emergency Panel at the time of the draw, this pair of countries could not be drawn together: Belarus and Ukraine.

The teams were allocated to groups in ascending order. If a clash arose, the team drawn would be moved to the next available group. The draw would have continued by filling the slot left vacant.

Hosts will be appointed for each mini-tournament, with the eight group winners qualifying for the finals.
