The UEFA Executive Committee has given Poland the chance to host the finals of the UEFA Regions' Cup in July.
Poland is to host the forthcoming final round of the UEFA Regions’ Cup between 3 and 9 July 2005.
At its December 2004 meeting at the House of European Football in Nyon, Switzerland, the UEFA Executive Committee approved a proposal for Poland to stage the final tournament of UEFA’s competition for amateur players.
UEFA’s campaign to foster the grassroots and amateur sectors of the game is reflected by the Regions’ Cup. The competition is open to regional amateur representative teams, and gives amateur players from throughout Europe a rare chance to shine on the European stage.
