Spanish side Principado de Asturias Amateur have one foot in the UEFA Regions' Cup finals after an impressive 1-0 away win against Central Bohemia Amateur of the Czech Republic in the intermediate round first leg yesterday.
Sánchez winner
Herminio Álvarez Sánchez's third-minute goal was enough to give Miguel Angel Sánchez Baragaño's side the edge ahead of the second leg in Spain on 7 May.
Final lineup
The two sides are vying to become the eighth and final side to reach this summer's Regions' Cup finals which take place in Germany from 22-28 June. Piemonte overcame Göteborg Amateur in the other intermediate round game to join group winners Ticino Amateur, Geyazan Amateur, Ligue du Maine Amateur, Szabolcs Gabona Csoport Amateur, North District Amateur and Württemberg Amateur in the finals.
