Bulgarian hosts South-East Region AMA clinched a place in the UEFA Regions' Cup final after holding Eastern Region AMA of Northern Ireland to a goalless draw in Sliven.

Favourable result
Although South-East Region trailed Tuzla Canton AMA by one goal at kick-off, the Bosnia-Herzegovnian side lost 2-0 to Basse-Normandie AMA and slipped to second in Group A behind the hone representatives. The Bulgarrians had the better of the chances with Plamen Stoyanov a constant menace to the Northern Irish back four. The forward had three chances to give the impressive home support the goal they craved but was twice foiled by the heroics of Eastern Region goalkeeper Ryan Brown and once by his own finishing.

Irish chances
Eastern Region twice went close in the first half through Liam Kearney and Robbie Budden and could have stolen the match at the death when Ryan Moffat sent a screaming effort fizzing over the bar. But the Bulgarian side held on and will play Poland's Dolnoslaski AMA here on Tuesday for the title, hoping to go one better than compatriots South-West Region-Sofia AMA who lost the last final two years ago to Basque Country AMA.
