Czech side Zlín Region have completed the lineup for this summer's UEFA Regions' Cup finals, winning intermediary round Group 6 on home soil ahead of West Hungary, FK Alytis and Dalmacija.

"We did everything we could in an organisational sense with the view of winning," said coach Petr Zapletal after the decisive 1-0 win against Alytis. "Of course, the final steps were the hardest ones. Our opponents played well, especially in the final phases of the game, and we were saved by our goalkeeper [Jaroslav Krajča] a few times."

A 51st-minute goal from substitute Tomáš Stojaspal settled the final tie against Lithuanian side Alytis, who kicked off their campaign with a 3-1 defeat against Dalmacija, only for that result to become a 3-0 default victory since the Croatian side, restored to the competition after a preliminary round elimination, fielded an ineligible player. Stijepo Njire had not served a suspension for a red card received in the preliminary round.

Zlín opened with a 0-0 draw against West Hungary, who recovered from going 3-0 down against Alytis on Matchday 2 to draw 3-3. On the same day, Zlín took full advantage of Miroslav Andačić's 17th-minute dismissal to win 4-0 against Dalmacija, with goals from Jan Lukáš, Michal Vrága, Michal Huťka and Jiři Valášek. Leo Jakovčević scored Dalmacija's goal, making it 2-1 for a time.

While Zlín's win against Alytis ensured their place in the finals in Portugal, Péter Króner's West Hungary ended the tournament with their heads held high, beating Dalmacija 3-0 with three first-half goals in Morkovice.
