Sergei Lynko scored the only goal of the game, but it was not enough to take Isloch to the UEFA Regions' Cup final, while Yugoiztochen finished their final Group B fixture with nine men.
The Belarusian side's driving force throughout the tournament, Lynko crowned a 50-metre sprint with a fine finish as a quick counterattack sent him one-on-one with Yugoiztochen goalkeeper Martin Lukov, but that 50th-minute finish was not enough to take them to the final – though they will receive bronze medals as runners-up in Group B.
With both sides going into the game with a chance – however slender – of playing in Saturday's final, there was plenty of attacking play from the off. Stanimir Dimitrov headed just wide on 37 minutes, and Aleksandr Kholodinski went similarly close with a volley at the other end.
Isloch ceded possession more after the interval, but proved to be devastating on the break, with Lynko getting his goal at the end of a typically sharp counterthrust. Krassimir Manolov's side looked to press and pass their way back into contention, but the key chance was not forthcoming, with substitute Milen Todorov's red card on 68 minutes for a foul on Lynko spelling the end. Dimitrov was then dismissed for an incident after the final whistle.
