Which player most inspired you and why? Steffi Jones. On and off the pitch she is as cool as a cucumber, she still hasn't lost this today.
Which coach most inspired you? I am grateful to any of my coaches, as each of them taught me something I could learn.
What was the best advice they gave you? There are quite a few I could mention. But in general it was a good tip to use both feet for shooting.
Best player you've played with? For me you can't say there is a best player. Each players has their own strengths and weaknesses. For me not only the performance on the pitch is important, but also the behaviour off the pitch before and after a game.
Toughest opponent? With the senior teams it was certainly playing the USA and Brazil.
What are your memories of your first club as a child? Together with my twin brother I won the D youth championship (boys) with my team SpVgg Utzenfeld. I scored 66 goals.
What tip would you give a young player hoping to succeed? If she wants to be very successful, she needs to train hard and has to make sacrifices sometimes. But you must never lose the fun of playing football.
What was the experience of playing in a youth final tournament? I participated in the FIFA U-19 Women's World Cup in Thailand. That was a beautiful experience. We were a great side and won the title. It was one of my favourite tournaments ever. You could show what you can do on the international stage and compete with other teams.
