The UEFA Champions Festival will be taking over Yenikapi Festival Park (Etkinlik Alani) from Thursday 8 June until Sunday 11 June. The location is situated on the European shore of the Marmara Sea, the park boasts magnificent views. 😍

Teams of football legends will take to the UEFA Champions Pitch in an epic contest that’s not to be missed! The tournament will begin at 15:00 on Friday 9 June. Visitors are advised that places are limited and will be allocated on a first come, first served basis. Arrive well in advance for the chance to get seats.
Official merchandise will be available to purchase at the Festival, including scarves, t-shirts, official match balls, exclusive Champions League memorabilia, and more! Payment methods include Mastercard, other credit/debit cards, contactless mobile payments, and cash, both Turkish Lira and Euros. (When paying in cash with Euros, any change will be given in Turkish Lira.)
An exciting mixture of food concessions will be on offer at the Festival, including local cuisine, vegan options, sweets, ice cream and more! Soft drinks and Heineken beer will also be available in a dedicated area to purchase.
A voucher payment system will be in operation for the Festival. You must purchase vouchers from designated stands placed around the Festival with cash, card or mobile phone payment before placing your order at the concessions.
Getting to the Festival 🎶
The most convenient way to travel to the Festival is by public transport. This is an inexpensive way to get around the city. The official electronic ‘smart card’ for the entire public transport network in Istanbul is the Istanbulkart.
If you’re a match ticket holder, you can use public transport for free on matchday with your UCL Fan Pass on the official UEFA Champions League app.

There are no parking facilities provided by Festival organisers, although public car parks are available close to Yenikapi Festival Park. These are operated by external companies and not dedicated to Festival attendees.

🎶 Festival entry and security
Yes, you can bring bags into the Festival. There will not be a bag deposit service available, so you will need to keep your belongings with you at all times. We recommend you don’t carry anything bigger than a backpack. Be aware that there are restricted items and there will be security checks in place.
For the safety of all attending and to avoid any inconvenience on your arrival, please check the list of forbidden items deemed unsafe or illegal below. As a reminder, bag checks will be taken prior to entry and there will be no bag deposit service available at the Festival.
Prohibited items include:
- Any kind of sharp objects (including knives) or weapons
- Any illegal recreational drugs
- Food or drinks, including alcohol (food for infants will be permitted)
- Scooters, segways or bicycles
- Drones
- Glass
- Lasers or electronic pointers
- Any racist, political or xenophobic materials
- Flags or banner larger than 2m
- Promotional or commercial materials
- Aerosols or flammable substances
- Fireworks and flares
- Megaphones or horns
Children under the age of 12 must be accompanied with an adult to enter the Festival.
Yes, the Festival is dog friendly. Dogs must be kept on a lead at all times, please.
Head to one of the two info points in the festival and staff will be able to support you. These are recognisable by the dedicated signage in English and Turkish.
In an event of an emergency, call 112 on any mobile device.
The priority is the safety of everyone on-site, but emergencies inevitably happen. Two info point towers will be clearly signposted with officials able to address any case of emergency. Please inform officials at the earliest opportunity.
📌 Festival facilities
Smoking, including the use of e-cigarettes, is permitted on-site. Please keep in mind those around you while smoking and discard extinguished cigarettes and other smoking materials safely in the dedicated bins. Thank you for helping us keep the Festival clean.
There will be toilets, including accessible toilets, located around the site.
The Festival will not be operating a bag deposit service. We recommend packing light as you will have to carry everything you bring with you.
Cash and card payments are welcome in the concessions and at the merchandise store. There will not be cash/ATM machines on-site.

No, match tickets for the final at Atatürk Olympic Stadium will not be on sale at the Festival.
🍟 Food and drink
No, you’re not allowed to bring your own food or drink of any kind, except food for infants or specific food or drink for medical reasons.
If you need to bring in specific food or drink for medical reasons, please bring your documentation and present on entry.
There will be an array of food on offer, including local cuisines, vegan options, sweets, ice cream and more! Further information will be released soon.
Soft drinks and beer can also be purchased from the concessions. You must be 18 or over to purchase alcohol on-site and ID checks will be in operation. Beer must be consumed in dedicated areas inside the Festival.
There will be a voucher payment system in place at the Festival. You can purchase vouchers from designated points around the Festival with cash, card and mobile contactless payment. The vouchers can then be used at the food and drinks concessions when ordering.

The Festival is fully accessible including on-site activities from UEFA and Champions League sponsors. A dedicated area is provided for wheelchair users for the Ultimate Champions Tournament and the Trophy Experience.
