PFC Lokomotiv Plovdiv have signed Bulgaria goalkeeper Stoyan Kolev from rivals PFC CSKA Sofia for €200,000.
The 28-year-old goalkeeper, part of the UEFA EURO 2004™ squad, previously spent three seasons with Lokomotiv before joining CSKA in 2001. The deal was completed just before the national team left for tonight's friendly against the Czech Republic in Prague.
Kolev is the first summer signing by Lokomotiv, who will play in the UEFA Champions League next season after their first championship success in their 68-year history. The club will enter in the second qualifying round.
