Proud coach
Trailing 2-1 from the first leg in Israel, Wisła turned on the style on home soil with a 5-0 victory to set up a third qualifying round tie against FC Barcelona, with the first leg at Camp Nou next week. "The team deserves congratulations," beamed Skorża . "We played superbly in tactical terms and the great ambition and commitment of the players contributed to this excellent result. After games like these, I am proud to be the coach.

Beitar respect
"The result does not reflect how good these two teams are," added the 36-year-old former Groclin Grodzisk Wielkopolski coach. "Beitar had a bad day and things did not go well for them. We managed to score an early goal and then got stronger and stronger with every minute. In my opinion Beitar are a very good team with plenty of quality players in their ranks. They demonstrated in Jerusalem that they can play modern, efficient football."

Barcelona trip
Good as they may be, Beitar bear little comparison with Wisła's next opponents as Skorża ponders a thrilling trip to Camp Nou. "The tie with Barcelona is a huge challenge for us and a great chance to play against a legendary team," he said. "We will not treat this game as adventure. We are one step away from the group stage and no matter how difficult it is we will do our best to reach our aim. We have already started to think about how to come back from Barcelona with a good result next week. We have demonstrated that we can play well at home and I hope we will do it again in the second leg against Barcelona."

Scorers celebrate
Argentinian midfielder Mauro Cantoro, whose free-kick opened the scoring in Krakow, said: "It is great that our goalscoring form is back. We lacked efficiency in the first leg but this time everything was totally different." Paweł Brożek, who registered in both legs, added: "I was confident that we would win but I never dreamt it would be 5-0. We might not have impressed Barcelona much, but we will fight hard to qualify for the group stage."
