Rangers FC midfielder Lee McCulloch will miss next Wednesday's UEFA Champions League match against FC Unirea Urziceni after being ruled out for a fortnight with a thigh strain.
Injury list
McCulloch, 31, was forced off early in the 1-1 draw with Hibernian FC at the weekend and joins midfielder Pedro Mendes and defender Madjid Bougherra among the players who will not be available to Walter Smith for the trip to Bucharest. In Tuesday's Scottish League Cup tie at Dundee FC, Smith will give a debut to 17-year-old defender Danny Wilson, and he is hoping that midfielder Kevin Thomson will return from a shoulder problem by the weekend. Rangers are currently bottom of Group G on one point after losing 4-1 to the Romanian champions at Ibrox on 20 October.
