5 The number of games AZ Alkmaar's Ronald Koeman has gone unbeaten as a coach against Arsenal. He guided AFC Ajax to 1-1 home and 0-0 away draws in the UEFA Champions League second group stage in February 2003. Koeman's PSV Eindhoven side then eliminated Arsenal in the 2006/07 first knockout round with a 1-0 home win followed by a 1-1 draw in London, and he also led AZ to a 1-1 draw against the Gunners on Matchday 3.

6 Sevilla have won all their six previous home games in the UEFA Champions League. During their successive UEFA Cup triumphs in 2006 and 2007, Sevilla lost just one of their 14 home games, winning eleven.

68 Raúl González's strike to put Real Madrid in front against Milan took him level with Filippo Inzaghi as the all-time leading scorer in UEFA club competition with 68 goals.

204 Cesare Prandelli became ACF Fiorentina's longest serving coach against Calcio Catania on Sunday, his 204th game surpassing a mark set by Fulvio Bernardini – the man who led the Viola to their first Scudetto in 1956. Prandelli presided over a club record 100th win in all competitions as Fiorentina coach on 26 September, when the Viola beat AS Livorno Calcio 1-0.

477 and counting... After appearing in last Thursday's 5-3 win over US Città di Palermo, Javier Zanetti moved ahead of Giacinto Facchetti in second place in FC Internazionale Milano's all-time appearances standings with 477 Serie A matches. The game was the Argentinian's 140th top-flight fixture in a row, a run lasting fully three years.
