The new UEFA.com MatchCentre includes a number of new features in time for matchday three.
Our new application, which launched on UEFA Champions League matchday one, includes expert commentary, live photos, statistics and analysis, and has now been even further enriched to improve your in-game experience.
With events at the venue already appearing in the MatchCentre much faster than last season, from Tuesday there will also be two new additions to the selection of portlets you can choose while following a game. Tactical lineups will show up once the team sheets are out prior to kick-off, while heat maps will track every player's movement throughout the game.
Also, only in English, will be the option for live match commentary on any fixture. For those following the live scores portlet rather than tracking one particular game, our new audio alerts will keep you up to speed with any goals going in at that time. Finally, team colours will be allocated in order to ease the reading of graphical statistics.
Accessible via the UEFA.com and UEFA Champions League homepages, the MatchCentre will open at 19.15CET on Tuesday and every matchday thereafter – and from 30 minutes before kick-off when there is an early game – and close at 24.00CET.
