Real Madrid CF could be without Ángel Di María for the rest of the UEFA Champions League group stage after the Argentinian international sustained a left hamstring injury in Sunday's resounding Liga victory against CA Osasuna.
The 23-year-old attacking midfielder – who has scored twice in 16 appearances in all competitions this season – limped off in the 50th minute of Madrid's 7-1 win at the Santiago Bernabéu and after undergoing various tests on Monday, was diagnosed with a hamstring problem.
The Liga leaders have not disclosed the length of time for which the former SL Benfica winger could be sidelined, but reports suggest he may be out for four weeks. If so, Di María will miss the Group D home encounter with GNK Dinamo Zagreb on 22 November and potentially the trip to AFC Ajax on 7 December.
José Mourinho's side confirmed qualification for the knockout stages of the UEFA Champions League with a 2-0 triumph at Olympique Lyonnais on matchday four.
