Roma and CSKA disciplinary proceedings opened

Disciplinary proceedings have been opened against AS Roma and PFC CSKA Moskva following the behaviour of their fans at the UEFA Champions League game on 17 September.

Disciplinary proceedings have been opened against:
Roma for setting off/throwing of fireworks and missiles (Article 16(2b&c) of the UEFA Disciplinary Regulations) and insufficient organisation (Article 38, UEFA Safety and Security Regulations).

CSKA for the racist behaviour of supporters (Article 14, UEFA Disciplinary Regulations), crowd disturbance (Article 16(2h), UEFA Disciplinary Regulations), setting off/throwing of fireworks and missiles (Article 16(2b&c), UEFA Disciplinary Regulations).

The case will be dealt with by the UEFA Control, Ethics and Disciplinary Body on 3 October.
