The Brandenburg Gate has been lit up in the colours of Juventus and FC Barcelona ahead of the Berlin final after supporters of the two clubs rose to a challenge set on Friday.

The Brandenburg Gate has been lit up in the colours of Juventus and FC Barcelona after fans of the UEFA Champions League finalists rose to the challenge set by @championsleague on Friday morning.

A target of 5,000 retweets was set per team to see the Berlin landmark as it had never been seen in all of its 224 years. Juve came close to 6,000 retweets, while Barcelona topped 6,800 and both set of fans got their wish this evening as the second of four days at the UEFA Champions Festival drew to a close.
