Following the news Lionel Messi is out for three weeks with a groin injury, UEFA.com decided to look at how Barcelona fared the last time their talisman faced an extended lay-off.

Messi was sidelined for nearly two months last season with a knee problem sustained against Las Palmas on 26 September, missing three UEFA Champions League matches, five Liga games and one Copa del Rey outing. The Azulgrana, as it turned out, did not cope too badly at all ...
