FC Dynamo Kyiv will be without defender Yuriy Dmytrulin for an indefinite period as he recovers from injury.
The 28-year-old had played in both of Dynamo's UEFA Champions League Group B matches ahead of last week's 2-1 victory against Arsenal, a fixture in which he was substituted in the 33rd minute following a kick in the chest. Dmytrulin was taken to hospital for routine tests and has remained there since, missing the 3-0 league win at FC Metalurh Donetsk on Saturday.
Cernat to return
Dmytrulin looks certain to miss the return against Arsenal in London on 5 November, as Dynamo have said they cannot estimate when he will recover. There was some cheer for coach Olexiy Mykhaylichenko, though, as Romanian international midfield player Florin Cernat is available to play against Arsenal after overcoming an ankle injury.
